Supervision
(Gestalt, Ecotherapy and Organisational
Orientation)
What is supervision?
There exist many definitions that stress different
aspects of supervision.
Generally, there is agreement that supervision
is a learning process in which anyone who is engaged in inter-personal
relationships with an individual or group in a psychotherapy/counselling,
coaching/mentoring/teaching, medical/nursing/hospice, social-work/support
agency setting engages with a more experienced practitioner in order to enhance
their skills in the process of ongoing professional development.
This,
in turn, promotes and safeguards the well being of their clients or patients as
well as themselves.

I work
with individuals and small groups (3/4) using a variety of orientations.
Generally, I work 'creatively' using dialogue, art, metaphor, storytelling and
body sculpture (constellations) and work both in and out doors.
I offer
concessions to students in training and individuals working in volunteer
agencies.
