Ecowalking

This is an
introduction to Ecotherapy or a recharge when you feel your batteries are
running low. It is widely accepted that walking and focussed breathing are good
for us, particularly in the fresh air and lush wooded paths around Ashridge
woods and Ivanhoe Beacon in the Chilterns.
The Ecowalk takes
approximately two hours, usually early mornings and evenings throughout the
year. We work either with small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
During
the session we will teach you how to walk with 'mindfulness', introduce you to
a variety of breathing exercises to expand your lung's capacity to breathe and
to open your heart (Anahata 4th) chakra.
During the Ecowalk there will
be some quiet time for personal reflection and meditation with simple, easy to
follow exercises to promote awareness and sustainable living.
